"Lodge in a Glade" project received an award at BIG SEE Architecture 2019 event in Ljubljana. We were invited to give a short presentation of the project. It was a good opportunity for a short, architectural city-break in Ljubljana.

We're honoured that our "Lodge in a Glade" (Vila din luminiș) project has received a nomination and a special prize in the Green Architecture category at BNA 2018.

Mostly because of family reasons our office has moved from Cluj/Kolozsvár to Sfântu Gheorghe/Sepsiszentgyörgy. From now on we're focusing mainly on project in the Szeklerland area.

The 1/2017 issue of Arhitectura magazine is a special number presenting the Passive House concept, illustrating it with a few certified buildings / projects from Romania. It was curated by Marius Șoflete and Simina Stan, who invited us to present the J House still in construction.

The "Media Architectural Prize" is the biggest, annual, architecture event in Hungary organized by epiteszforum.hu. The international jury selected 5 buildings and 5 projects which will compete and will be presented at the gala event in November the 18th, 2017. Our refuge network in Szeklerland, despite the fact that it's an older project, has been published only this year on epiteszforum, hence nominated. We're really happy to land among the finalists.

Our project, currently under construction, received the Passivhaus-Institut pre-certificate. It's among the first passive houses in Transylvania. The first edition of the Transilvanian Architecture Biennale, (BATRA) featured two Blipsz projects: Bungalows in Odorheiu Secuiesc, and The Social Plant in Toplita which has won the first prize in the Public buildings category. It's theme, the conversion of a former heating plant into an integrated social center fitted well with the "generate, regenerate" concept of this edition of the biennale.

"Beyond the City" (Dincolo de oraș) is an exposition and book published by Zeppelin about rural contemporary architecture in Romania. The project makes an analisys of the transformations and processes that define the current built environment in the countryside.

Exposing East and Central European architecture is the aim of this project organized by Arhitext magazine. The international jury selected 98 projects from 21 countries.

We were invited to a panel discussion at the launching event of the "Romanian Architecture in Details - Housing" book, published by Ozalid, held during the 2013 Architecture Days in Cluj.

BLIPSZ + ATELIER FKM 's project is presented among 14 other works from Romania in the first volume (Housing) from the upcoming series "Romanian Architecture in Details" published by Ozalid. The launching event will be held Monday 17/12/2012 in the Ion Mincu house in Bucharest.

István Pásztor is an invited speaker at the International Architecture Conference "RIFF 2012" held at JW Marriott Grand Hotel Bucharest between the 19th and 20th of November. István will present in the "Roofs" section a lecture entitled "Microclimate, terrain and the lawn rolled up the roof"

The 2012 Bucharest National Biannual Architecture Venue (BNAB) with almost 300 entries in 10 categories selected our project for on-site viewing and as a nominee for best public building. Check out our other entries as well: Hajdó house and Picnic in Concrete Fields.

Romanian National Participation in the New Gallery of the Romanian Institute for Culture and Humanistic Research (Cannaregio, 2214 – 30121) at the 13th International Architecture Biennale Venice open until the 25th of November. HEAD UP! is a project by Atelier Mass.

The latest issue of Zeppelin magazine introduces blipsz architecture. Three projects were selected for publishing: Hajdo house, the Heating Plant Conversion (currently under construction) and the Tourist Shelter Prototypes (Reception hut).

Atelier Mass architecture studio curated the latest special issue of the Arhitext magazine, nr. 224, dealing with the concept of Soft Utopias. Our office was selected among 7 other young teams to develop a future vision in the Romanian context. You can find our project on page 83 - "The future will be green, anyhow"

Blipsz / Atelier FKM applied with 2 projects for the 2011 OARTr (Romanian Architects' Chamber, Transilvania branch) bi-annual Prizes: the Reception Hut and Hajdó house, both in the "architecture < 1000 m²" category. To our great surprize, we have won the first prize in the category with the Reception Hut building.
