The workshop organized by fellow Memoria Moderna association of Budapest has assumed dealing conceptually with the flat neighbourhood legacy for one of the first times around “the block” in 2005. The workshop lead by the ever astonishing no.mad architect Eduardo Arroyo has provided the original blipsz! team one of the most inspiring design processes of their professional lifes so far. We have designed a second public landscape above the “unsolvable” original parking layer, that eventually merges with the ground floor. The new layer houses all the functions needed for a balanced function mix additional to housing and provides actually usable public surface.
